Dr. Manish Patel has been in private practice in Central Texas since 2001. He specializes in upper extremity surgery, including shoulder replacements, rotator cuff repairs, shoulder arthroscopy, elbow reconstructions, wrist fractures, triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) repairs, wrist arthroscopy, basal joint surgery (arthroscopic and open techniques), Dupuytren’s treatments (collagenase injections and surgery), trigger finger releases, carpal tunnel release, ulnar nerve transposition, fracture treatments, as well as microvascular tendon and nerve repair. He graduated Valedictorian of his class in the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas and went on to graduate with High Honors from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed a five-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles. He then had the privilege of completing a one-year fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery with the world-renowned hand surgeon, David P. Green, MD.
