Rajat Gupta, MD

Dr. Gupta is a board-certified Neurologist, with added qualifications in Pain Management. He was in the first group of physicians to earn a Diplomate Certificate for Headache Medicine by the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties. Dr. Gupta has also earned similar certificates by the American Board of Pain Medicine as well as the American Academy of Pain Management. Dr. Gupta is a Chicago native where he earned his BS in Engineering and then an MD from the University of Illinois. He served his Neurology residency in Portland, Oregon and then completed a Fellowship in Pain Management at Johns Hopkins University, later becoming an instructor there. He came to Austin in 1996 and opened his Westlake office in 1998, specializing in headache and pain management. He is a member of the Texas Medical Association, Travis County Medical Society, American Academy of Neurology, American Headache Society, and Texas Pain Society.
