Dr. Bill Ursprung, a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic, brings his passion for serving patients and helping them feel their best to Pro-Care. He has several years of experience in evaluating, diagnosing, treating and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries in a variety of clinical settings.
Bill’s journey to becoming a chiropractor is truly an adventure in itself. After serving in both the Army and Navy and receiving his associate’s degree in Marine Technology, he began his career as a deep-sea diver medic technician where he provided routine and emergency medical care in remote locations around the globe. With his passion for diving and healthcare, he transitioned to working as a hyperbaric technologist in several leading hospitals in East Texas. His tenure in the hospitals sparked his desire to continue his education in the medical arena.
Bill pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree at Cleveland University Chiropractic and Health Sciences in Los Angeles, CA, where he graduated with honors. Upon graduation, he served as a Diagnostic Imaging Resident at Logan College of Chiropractic. While serving as a chiropractor in private practices and major medical groups for many years, Bill continued his education with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry/Life Sciences from Excelsior College and a Masters of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University – San Antonio. As a true lifelong learner, he is currently working on his Ph.D. in Health & Human Performance.
With Bill’s diverse background and experience, he brings deep knowledge and expertise in treating his patients. Bill is trained in the McKenzie Method, myofascial release, active release technique (ART), Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and more.
On the personal front, his wife, two kids, and four rescue dogs love exploring new adventures (and writing dissertations).
